Yttrium oxide is the workhorse material for plasma-resistant coatings inside semiconductor etch and deposition chambers, for yttria-stabilised zirconia (YSZ) ceramics, and for phosphors and YAG laser crystals. We supply 4N and 5N Y₂O₃ from Chinese producers.

For semiconductor coating customers we can supply spray-grade granulated Y₂O₃ (spherical, 10–50 µm) and Y₂O₃-based composite powders (YOF, Y-Al) to specification.

Y₂O₃/TREO ≥ 99.999% with total non-rare-earth impurities typically below 50 ppm. We agree the scope of the certificate when you enquire.

Minimum order?

The confirmed 5N grades (D50 1–2, 3–4, 5–7 µm) ship from 1,000 kg each. Certificates and sample terms are agreed at enquiry.

Lead time and export licence?

Yttrium falls under China's dual-use export controls. The licence application can only be filed once a supply contract with the Chinese producer is signed, because the contract number goes on the application. With the contract in place the buyer signs and stamps three documents — the End-User and End-Use Certificate, the End-User's Profile and a supply-chain (industrial chain) sheet. We supply the forms and the Korean, English and Chinese translations. Count 45 Chinese business days from filing, plus 2-3 weeks for shipping and customs after approval.

What does the buyer have to prepare?

Three documents, once the supply contract is signed: the End-User and End-Use Certificate (addressed to China’s MOFCOM, carrying the contract number, product name and end use, with the no-diversion, no-transfer and no-WMD undertakings), the End-User’s Profile (incorporation date, capital, total assets, headcount, business scope, main products, annual turnover, management) and a supply-chain sheet (which process the powder enters, what it becomes, the makers and countries at each tier, the volume used and the final sales country). We provide the forms and the Korean, English and Chinese translations; the buyer signs and stamps.

How is it priced?

Quoted per tonne. The number moves with the market and FX, so ask and we quote on the day.

HS code and customs?

Imported under HS 2846.90-1000. We handle the import declaration, duty and domestic delivery, so Korean buyers purchase on domestic terms.

Can you match a customer spec sheet?

Yes — send your particle-size (D10/D50/D90), loss-on-ignition and impurity limits with the RFQ and we will quote against it.
